C24 solid construction timber – advantages

Floor joists is very durable, making it an ideal material for:
– wooden houses,
– roof structures,
– ceilings or walls.

Our C24 solid wood is chamber dried.
Benefits to this, the wood does not have to be chemically treated with impregnants, as is the case with wet wood.
Drying makes C24 wood less susceptible to pest attacks and resistant to mold and fungi.
Structures made of C24 solid wood are lighter than those made of wet wood.
They also have higher strength parameters.
So you can use smaller wood cross-sections, which means lower costs and easier work on the construction site.

STORAGE

This wood has an optimal humidity of approx. 15% – 18% and it is a humidity that perfectly corresponds to the climatic conditions in our geographical area. After assembly, the wood works optimally. The goods are stored in a dry place. If you have to store them before installation, then they should be stored under a roof and in a dry place.
